Heritage
Crossview has developed a niche market in the conservation and recreation of heritage-based projects in the region. This has come from a can-do approach by all staff and stems from the extensive experience company founder Stuart McIntyre has with working with timber and his many years sand blasting and painting.
Projects
- Ellen Cove jetty built in 1868
- Tanker jetty
- Lumper
- Salmon Gums tank

Demolition
Crossview has held a class 2 demolition license since 2015 and in that time has been associated with a range of diverse projects in the Esperance region. With the combination of trained, qualified and experienced staff and the right machinery, Crossview can offer a compliant, economical and reliable demolition service to customers in the South East of WA. The company has also worked with class 1 license holders on projects including the Tanker Jetty and nickel circuit demolition in Esperance.

Crane and rigging
During the construction of the Esperance Tanker jetty, Crossview identified the need for an all-terrain crane capable of handling the precast concrete deck panels and 26 metre-long steel piles. We purchased a Grove 100 ton machine and used it successfully for the duration of that job. Since the completion of the jetty, the crane has become a regular part of our business and is used on work including communication tower erection, boat lifting, raising of new large rural sheds, steel erection, wind turbine components and demolition. Accompanied by experienced drivers and riggers, the crane is offered with a comprehensive range of rigging equipment and can service anywhere in the south of the state. Services are assisted by a new 10 ton Isuzu flat bed truck fitted with a remote control Hiab crane.

Welding & Steel Fabrication
Our workshop on Simpson street in Esperance is the hub of welding and fabrication operations. Equipped with all of the standard workshop equipment, including a 10 ton overhead crane and 8 metre wide doors, it is an ideal facility for fabrication and repair. Crossview also has extensive site based experience and equipment, working on projects from the central wheatbelt, Kambalda and Esperance.
Crossview has access to a variety of excellent subcontractors including boilermakers, machinists, scaffolders, mechanics and hydraulic fitters.

Barge and marine
Crossview own and operate the only commercial barge service in Esperance. We have two 12 metre road transportable, self powered barges, both in 2C survey, assisted by a 6.5 metre aluminium work boat, also in 2C. One barge is fitted with a 288 Hiab, the other has a piling mast set up for rotary piling. Both vessels can accommodate our 14 ton excavator, fitted with hydraulic grabs, buckets or rock breaker, providing a very versatile set up for demolition and waste recovery.
Powered by twin outboards and equipped with spuds, they are a highly maneuverable and valuable asset to any marine activity in the region. They can be disassembled and transported anywhere in the state with ease.

Ancillary services
Backing up the variety of services offered by Crossview is a range of specialty or niche activities. These include
- Diamond coring. Three machines capable of coring a range of sizes up to 400 mm through reinforced concrete.
- Concrete rail sawing. Quality European made remote control rail saw for straight line cutting reinforced concrete up to 300 mm thick, vertical or horizontal.
- Hydraulic bolt tensioning and undoing. Offering safe, controlled and powerful bolt torquing up to 11500 Newton Metres. All common socket sizes carried in stock.
- Concrete demolition and disposal. Our excavator is equipped with a hydraulic rock breaker and is assisted in this role with a 20 ton loader and tip trucks.

Major asset refurbishment
Crossview offers clients a complete, in house service for plant and asset maintenance and refurbishment. The company founder first started working at Esperance Port Authority in 1992 with his fledgling business, Southern Sandblasting and since then has expanded and added a broad range of services that provide customers with the security of knowing their projects are in the best hands.
By combining the skills and experience of staff and subcontractors with top quality equipment, an excellent result can be obtained for customers, safely and within prescribed time frames.
With available equipment and services including boilermaking, crane, rigging, transport, sand blasting, painting, concrete coring and sawing, demolition and barge operations, there isn’t a lot we can’t provide.
