One field Crossview specialises in is diamond coring of concrete – the “drilling” of varying diameters of holes through reinforced concrete. This service became necessary when the company won a tender to install twelve new bollards for ships mooring lines at Esperance Port. The job involved coring 96 holes through berths one and two at a depth of 600 mm. The concrete is over fifty years and is very heavily reinforced. The company invested in a large capacity , premium quality Hilti machine and performed the work on time and budget.
Since that project, Crossview has bought another two Hilti machines that allows work ranging from small hand held coring for bolts and anchors through to holes of 450mm diameter.

Projects completed to date include
- Shore tension bollards at Esperance Port (96 holes through 600mm)
- Six new ships fenders (horizontal and vertical holes up to 600 mm deep)
- Installation of quad hook mooring device (90 mm diameter holes 1300 mm deep through very heavily reinforced concrete)
- Stud removal from pre cast concrete panels – James Street Jetty
- Concrete core sampling for laboratory testing
- Horizontal holes for services provision – CSBP warehouse (150 mm diameter through 450mm walls)
- Chemically anchored studs for mooring platform installation – Esperance Port
